Spring Bluff 2005 consists of three stages:
I stage The company poker night, March 1 – May 15
Poker Guide: an introduction to the history and different combinations of poker, training matches. The number of participants is unlimited, so the more players, the better for the company, even if it’s 30 people. There will also be a internal tournament to determine the best poker player in the company.
The company will form a team of at least 5 members from its players to represent the company in the semifinal. One company can also put forward several teams, but they will compete separately. 5 players or each team will make it to the semifinal.
II stage Semifinals, May 16-23
There will be two tournaments between the teams which will determine the teams that make it to the final. Each semifinal has up to ten teams, each team 5 players. These do not have to be the 5 best players in the team order, but they must have participated in the first stage of Spring Bluff 2005.
In the semifinal, points are awarded in the reverse order according to the number of the participants, so if there are 50 people, for example, the last person will get one point, the penultimate person two and the winner 50 points, respectively. The first place will get an additional 10 and the second place an additional 5 points.
The total result of the team will be determined by adding together the points of the five best players.
The four best poker teams of both semifinals will meet in the final tournament. If there is a tie for the fourth place, the position of the best team member in the overall ranking of the players is considered – the team with the highest ranked player will make it to the final.
III stage Final, May 30
Eight best teams meet behind the poker table, five players in each group, to determine the team poker champion and the best individual poker player in the “Poker Face 2005” ranking.
In the final, points are also awarded in the reverse order according to the number of the participants, so if there are 40 people, for example, the last person will get one point, the penultimate person two and the winner 40 points, respectively. The first place will get an additional 10 and the second place an additional 5 points.
The game used in the “Spring Bluff 2005” tournament is Pot Limit Texas Hold'Em.
