Olympic Casino opened its fifth casino in the Ukraine

At the beginning of March, Olympic Entertainment Group (Olympic Casino), the biggest casino operator in the Baltics, opened its fifth casino in Kiev, the capital of the Ukraine, investing 12.5 million kroons into it.

The casino, located in area of Obolon, is the first Olympic Casino opened in the Ukraine this year. According to Andri Avila, the company’s manager of casino operations, it is planned to increase the number of casinos there to ten by the end of the year. „During a year and a half, we have invested 105.5 million kroons into the Ukrainian market and our concept has won the favour of the clients,” Avila said. „Unlike many other local operators, we are not just a gambling spot but we offer our clients also around-the-clock casino entertainment of quality, top level service, cosy interior and novel bonus prizes.”

The newly opened Olympic Casino in Kiev has been designed in the Wild West style. In the casino with a surface area of 140 m2 one can try its luck on 36 slot machines and spend time in a comfortable bar.

Today there are five Olympic Casinos in total operating in the Ukraine; the first one was opened in November 2004. The gambling market of the second largest country in Europe is relatively flexible and, among other things, advertising of casinos is allowed there. However, the field is rather fragmented there – according to data known to Olympic Casino, licenses have been issued to ca 2,700 casino operators in the Ukraine with a population of 48 million people.
