The first place of entertainment, named Olympic Eldorado Casino, was started in the capital of Byelorussia, Minsk, in the shopping centre Prostore, on the 17th August. According to director of casino operations of Olympic Entertainment Group Andri Avila, there was made the investment of more than 11 million EEK.

This year the enterprise is planning to invest a total of 55 million EEK into the business in Byelorussian market. “We are opening two more casinos during this year – one 267 m² and the other 386 m² decent modern place of entertainment,” said Avila. “In addition to these we are going to make preparations for opening a fourth casino early next year.”

Commenting on further plans of Olympic Casino in Byelorussian market, Avila added that those depend largely on the general development of the country, however, in such a big market it would certainly be quite unreasonable to limit the business plan to only a couple of gambling houses. “During the last years, Olympic Casino has been moving more and more beyond the borders of Estonia – in addition to dominant position in the entertainment market of the Baltic States we have successfully entered the markets of Ukraine and now also Byelorussia,” Avila said. He added that the enterprise is continually and actively preparing for new opportunities of expanding.

In total, Olympic Entertainment Group now operates 73 casinos, 38 of them functioning in Latvia, 20 in Estonia, 8 in Lithuania, 6 in the Ukraine and 1 in Byelorussia.
The first Olympic Casino in Byelorussia has been designed and furnished in the style of South-America and Incas; there is room for 36 most modern slot machines in the area of 144 m². In addition to these, there is a roomy bar in the casino. What is more, additional chances of winning are being offered by casino-based jackpot system.

Olympic Entertainment Group is the largest gambling operator in the Baltic States employing more than 2000 persons. Olympic Casino operates in compliance with the requirements of the international quality management standard ISO 9001. The company is a full member of the European Casino Association (ECA) and a major sponsor of the Estonian Olympic Committee.
