Olympic Casino in Estonia

Olympic Casino started its operations in September 1993 when was established a company named Benetreks Ltd.  On December 24th the first slot machine casino with 57 slot machines, 2 flippers and 2 arcade games was opened in Tallinn in hotel Pirita .

Today Olympic Casino is a market leader in Estonia. Altogether it has 35 casinos from which two casinos with gaming tables in Tallinn and Tartu and 33 slot machine casinos in Tallinn, Tartu, Narva, Jõhvi, Kallavere and Pärnu.
Currently Olympic Casino in Estonia has in total 22 gaming tables and ca 1250 slot machines from which 323 are connected to EZ Pay system.

Management Quality

2006  was a very successful year for Olympic Casino Estonia. We opened six new casinos: four in Tallinn, one in J›hvi and one in Narva. One casino in Tallinn was also completely redecorated.

The casino market as a whole grew by 39%; we increased our turnover by 48.2%, our market share increased to 38%.

The highlight of the year 2006 for Olympic Casino Estonia was receiving the international, very highly acclaimed Management Quality award. We have every reason to be proud of this.

The maximum score that can be earned is 1,000 points; we scored 600 points - but it must be taken into account that the average score among Europe's top 36 most effectively and best managed companies is 580 points. Therefore we can say that as an organization, we are very strong among our international competitors. The fact that we have received this award is also important in another respect: Olympic Casino has become an international group, but it is still rooted in Estonia. The Estonian organization is a good 'seedbed' for all the other companies that are a part of the group - both in terms of human resources as well as ideas. The organization of Olympic Casino Estonia is the leader within the group. And this spurs us on.

We were also pleased with the fact that our casinos have attracted new clients, whereas we must also point out that the number of our loyal customers has increased. Clients have become more demanding and they highly appreciate the Las Vegas-style casino culture that we offer. It is exactly the Las Vegas-style casino that is the future of casinos. Major consolidation is happening all over the world - the number of operators is decreasing, but casinos are turning into large-scale entertainment centres. And this trend makes us very happy.

Estonian laws and regulations provide practically no options for advertising. Thus one of the few options the organization has for communication with the wider public is through public relations. The fact that the organization is open and open to public interest is definitely an important competitive advantage for us. In Estonia, Olympic Casino has received ten times more media coverage than its competitors.

This is the result of regular and carefully planned public relations. The partnership with the media includes both the quick and accurate provision of information and the availability for enquiries, as well as the courage to openly explain more problematic issues.
