Yesterday the Mystery Jackpot, connecting all casinos of the casino chain, was won in Olympic Casino situated in Mustakivi shopping centre, Tallinn. Nikolai, an inhabitant of Tallinn, succeeded in winning 766,142 EEK with a 1-kroon bet. It was the largest sum of money won in Olympic Casino this year.
The 50-year old Nikolai gained the jackpot by playing his favourite game poker on a Bally machine. Marje Braunbrück, the marketing director of Olympic Casino, said that the Mystery Jackpot is extraordinary because of the fact that it can be won by every player not depending on the playing site or the size of the bet. “The gambling machines of all our fifteen casinos throughout Estonia have been connected to the Mystery Jackpot system, and from each bet a certain percentage is added to the prize fund,” Braunbrück explained.
The previous Mystery Jackpot was, according to Braunbrück, won last year immediately before Christmas. “At that time as much as 1.25 million EEK had been accumulated in the Mystery Jackpot fund,” Braunbrück said.
After winning of a jackpot sum, the Mystery Jackpot starts to accumulate again to make a new lucky player happy soon. Whereas, the Mystery Jackpot does not start growing from 0 EEK but from 10% of the previous sum won. The increase of the Mystery Jackpot can be observed in real time at the homepage of Olympic Casino: www.olympic-casino.net.
